Our FDA-registered Virtual Eye device is backed by over two years of research and development at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, ranked Best in Ophthalmology by both U.S. News & World Report and Ophthalmology Times.
Our Virtual Eye device can help you increase practice efficiency with:
Test modalities, reporting accuracy, and repeatability comparable to standard automated perimetry (SAP) tests (1)(2)
Audio instructions that replace the need for monitoring
Portable, comfortable testing in any location
-
Patient records are secured for HIPAA & BAA compliance.
-
Conduct and review tests anywhere, on any device, with a Wi-Fi connection.
-
Examination records can be printed or downloaded and saved to your EMR system
-
Synthetic leather facial cushion can be quickly disinfected between patients.
-
Normative patient database collected from over 450 Bascom Palmer patients
Key Attributes:
In clinical trials, our Virtual Eye device:
Showed a mean sensitivity comparable to SAP (p<0.0001) for accurate assessment of the visual field (1)
Experienced 26% shorter test times on average than traditional SAP (3)
Exhibited reliable agreement with SAP in eyelid function for ptosis evaluation (4)

How it works
1. Enter Patient Data
Our intuitive software allows you to set up a visual field test for a new patient in as little as two minutes or less.
2. Administer the Test
Once the test starts, audio instructions will guide the patient through the exam, relieving your staff from monitoring the test.
3. Download Results
When the test is complete, you can print or download the visual field report and save it to your EMR system.
